ADJUSTABLE WELDING TRANSFORMER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2091883 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering; welding arc current supplies. SUBSTANCE: transformer has toroidal core whose opposite ends carry primary, secondary, and auxiliary windings; angle pieces are attached to its external surfaces and magnetic shunt abuts against core in one plane with screw drive passed through this shunt. Toroidal core and magnetic shunt (its parts) are wound of strip in rolling direction. EFFECT: reduced iron loss, reduced mass and size, provision for using wasteless technology in core manufacture. 3 cl, 6 dwg
