DC MACHINE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2091966 C1

FIELD: DC sources and electric drives. SUBSTANCE: DC machine has stator, armature, brush gear, bearing assemblies, contact device made as two conducting rings separated with insulation. One of rings is manufactured solid, and the other has three cuts shifted through 120 deg relative to each other. Armature winding is made of three coils displaced through 120 deg with respect to each other. Starting leads of coils are connected to solid ring and finishing leads, to split ring. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, reduced consumption of electrical material materials, simplified manufacturing process, and decreased mass. 4 dwg
