METHOD OF CONTROL OF PULSED SOURCE OF SECONDARY POWER SUPPLY Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2091972 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering, control of secondary power supply sources at conversion of direct current at one voltage level to direct current at another voltage level with an intermediate high-frequency conversion. SUBSTANCE: two pairs of pulse trains shifted relative to each other by a half of the period are formed, the magnitude of output current of the pulsed source of secondary power supply is measured, the measured magnitude of output current of the pulsed source of secondary power supply is measured, the measured magnitude of output current is compared with the preset level, the error signal is discriminated and controlled by the obtained pairs of pulse trains, which control the power transistors of two single-shot bridge converters connected in parallel at the output; the specific feature is in the fact that control is effected by varying the pulse length of all trains, at which the relation between the durations of the process of accumulation and conversation of energy in the magnetic field of reactor-transformers varies at a constant summary duration, of these processes equal to a half of the period, and the duration of energy transmission to the load circuit or return to the primary power supply source in the no-load conditions of the load circuit is maintained constant and equal to a half of the period. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of control at pulsed variations of load resistance of pulsed sources of secondary power supply in the conditions of stabilization of output current, including variation of load from no-load to short circuit. 2 dwg
