FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, single-seed and hole sowing of small-seed cultures. SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has seed hopper 1 with seed level regulator 2 communicated with working chamber 7, disk 3 mounted in working chamber 7 and provided with seed grips 4, positioned along disk generatrix, and seed thrower 5 for directing seeds to seeding channel 6 and positioned for sliding over outer surface of seed grips 4. Seed thrower 5 is made in the form of disk with dielectric rim fixed on disk generatrix for engagement of its working surface with outer surface of seed grips 4 made from dielectric material having hardness exceeding that of rim material. Seed grip 5 and seeding disk 3 are mounted for rotation, with motion vectors of their contacting portions being oriented in opposite directions. EFFECT: increased efficiency in sowing small seed cultures, reduced injure to seeds, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
