FIELD: agriculture, in particular, growing of plants, such as onion, in greenhouses. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has soil container of light transmitting material. Container is hung to ceiling on flexible tie-rods by means of detachable members. Container bottom has corrugations with ridges provided with openings for receiving onion bulbs inserted with their roots directed upward. Container bottom is covered with punctured film. Apparatus is further provided with plant watering device and light reflector positioned on window sill and/or floor.
