FIELD: agriculture, in particular, indoor growing of bulbous plants. SUBSTANCE: method involves arranging plants in planting device, such as container with soil, with plant roots being oriented upward and container being hung to ceiling. Apparatus has container hung to ceiling by means of flexible tie-rods composed of easily detachable members, and plant watering device. Container bottom is provided with projections and slots facilitating fixation of bulbs in container and collection of excessive water during watering. Such method allows growing and germination power consumed by plants to be reduced due to simplified overcoming of gravitational force by plant soft buds, and facilitates flow of water containing nutrient substances from roots.
