FIELD: medical engineering; gynecological appliances; may be used for examination and diagnostics of degree of laceration and lacing-up of vagina after child birth. SUBSTANCE: device has sectional body which is represented by two pairs of parallel-positioned rods fixed to two pairs of half-rings. Diameter of distal half-rings relates to diameter of proximal half-rings as 3 to 4. Each pair of lower distal and proximal half-rings is provided with hook-like projections, and each pair of upper half-rings has respective slots, thus making up lock joints. Side rods which form body frame are manufactured tetrahedral and bent at angle of 15-20 deg. near distal end. Upper and lower rods are made cylindrical. Lower cylindrical and side rods are secured to lower half-rings and upper cylindrical rod, to upper half-rings. Device handles are fixed to proximal half-rings and are diametrically opposed to each other. EFFECT: visualizing of vagina due to volumetric outline of vagina walls when they are raised during mechanical fixing of device on uterus neck. 3 cl, 2 dwg
