FIELD: medicine; reconstructive and plastic microsurgery; treatment of defects in small- and medium-size tubular bones. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is inventively novel in that it uses, as transplant, cortical layer fragment of tibia together periosteum on vascular peduncle consisting of tibial vessels. Fragment and vessels are inserted into defect, fixed on place and overlaid by periosteum layer in fixation zone. EFFECT: reduced traumatism rate; shorter treatment duration due to accelerated bone regeneration.
