FIELD: treatment of gases for removal of dust particles and moisture. SUBSTANCE: to obtain vapor condensing process, coolant is fed to sealed-up drip entrapping plates of sections grouped in pairs. Plates of first and last sections engageable with plates of center section perform function of fins which are also cooled down. Drips of moisture contained in gas coagulate (become larger) when they enter passages between drip entrapping plates and settle on plates together with solid particles stuck to them due to inertial forces. Vapor of moisture contained in gas also settles on cooled surfaces of plates. These processes are effected in each section, but largest drips are condensed and settled on plates of first section; small drips of moisture with small particles of dust stuck to them are entrapped in second section due to deeper cooling and small drips not entrapped in first two sections are entrapped in third section. Drips entrapped by plates together with particles stuck to them form films of liquid which flows to pan wherefrom it is removed through pipe unions and then to sewage line.
