FIELD: chemical and fuel-power industries; heating boilers operating on any fuel; cleaning and heat-mass exchange treatment of gases. SUBSTANCE: gas to be treated is delivered into housing through inlet branch tangentially at a speed of 12-15 m/s moving along inner surface of housing. Wet ash particles thrown to housing walls coagulate and drip down into pan together with liquid films, and ash particles suspended in gas, get together with liquid flowing along exhaust pipe, to swirling plates. Flows of gas with drops of liquid (and ash particles which has not get coagulated) swirled by blades pass to exhaust pipe where they form points of unstable foam promoting coagulation of solid particles and making them drop to pan wherefrom they are evacuated together with liquid. Gas treated in exhaust pipe passes through separating chamber and gets out of device through outlet branch. High efficiency of gas cleaning in device is provided by three stages of cleaning, namely, in intertube space between housing and exhaust pipe, in exhaust pipe proper where main treatment of gas by means of unstable foam is carried out, and in separation chamber. EFFECT: enhanced cleaning of gas. 4 dwg
