DEVICE FOR SORTING RIVETS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used for sorting rivets according to their length and size of heads. Device has body made in the form of two parallel vertical strips and inclined guide members adjoining to body. Arranged inside body is power-driven disk which can rotate around horizontal axis. Made over periphery of disk are seats for rivets. Surface of seats intended for supporting stems of rivets is inclined towards lower strip. Surface which interacts with rivet head has supporting surfaces in the form of two chamfers which are inclined in different sides. Stops are provided on disk. Horizontal section of one of parallel body strips is located below level of disk seats. Stops are fixed on disk and can be repositioned. Front part of stops have surface which is inclined towards side which is opposite to lower strip and is intended for rivet stem. Surface conjugating with disk is provided with teeth. Disk at point where stops are located has similar teeth. Additionally, mounted on high strip of body above disk is tripper made in the form of L-shaped plate which is bevelled in direction of disk rotation. EFFECT: high efficiency. 5 dwg
