FIELD: foundry, in particular, devices for preparing sand-clay mixtures. SUBSTANCE: mixer has cylindrical horizontal rotary housing mounted on supporting rolls, working members formed as rods positioned within cylinder and end closure with charging and discharge windows. Rod surface is provided with periodical projections whose side surfaces are inclined relative to rod axis and projections of adjacent rods are staggered one relative to another. Surfaces of projections are rubberized. EFFECT: increased efficiency of mixer and improved quality of sand mixtures. 4 cl, 3 dwg
