DEVICE FOR FEEDING WORM MACHINES WITH RUBBER MIXTURE IN FORM OF TAPE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: tyre industry; processing and production of rubber articles. SUBSTANCE: device has worm machine, automatic truck with lifting platform, splice press with movable part of base in form of plates with cuts and projections, and removable platforms with holders for transportation of rubber mixture on truck. Device has guide rail installed on worm machine section and after the machine, mechanism for cross setting of tape end in form of movable carriages installed on front and rear parts of platform. Carriages are mounted on spring-loaded cores of rollers fitted on free ends of cores for engagement with guide rail. Mechanism for cross setting of tape end has tape end holders and stops with hold-downs mounted on movable part of base of splice press. Device has spring and roller holders mounted on carriages. Roller holders are installed in coaxially movable holder. Extreme roller holders have shoulders and are installed at a distance from each other not exceeding the width of tape. Spring holders are made for fitting in slots of lower plate of splice press. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 5 dwg
