FIELD: dental materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alloys based on precious metals and can be used as structural material for dental prostheses and also in other areas of medicine. Alloy exhibits high hardness, high yield strength, improved adhesion characteristics, and optimal coefficient of thermal expansion enabling use of both imported and home ceramic coatings. Alloy contains (in wt %): palladium, 45-70; gold, 10-25; copper, 10- 15; tin, 10-15, copper to tin ratio being 1:1. Alloy may be supplemented by one ore several platinum-group metals in quantity 0.1- 5%. EFFECT: improved consumer's quality of alloy. 2 cl, 1 tbl
