FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to corrosion-resistant nickel alloys applicable for making whole piece and porcelain fused metal crown and prosthetic bridges. What is declared is the high-strength nickel alloy for orthopaedic dentistry which contains wt %: carbon - no more than 0.03, silicon - 0.8-1.8, manganese - 0.2-1.0, chrome - 22.5-26.0, molybdenum - 8.0-10.5, cobalt - 0.1-5.5, niobium - 0.4-1.3, iron - no more than 0.4, vanadium - 0.01-0.40, yttrium - 0.005-0.100, as well as nickel and unavoidable impurities. The content of nickel in the alloy makes no more than 61.5 wt %, and the total content of niobium and vanadium is related as follows: [%Nb] + [%V]=0.6-1.5.
EFFECT: higher strength of the alloy and applicability for prosthetic repair and without porcelain build-up with maintained plasticity level, TCLE values and strength of porcelain fused metal compound, corrosion resistance, and also adaptability to manufacture in producing prostheses: casting properties, workability, polishability.
