FIELD: construction hardware. SUBSTANCE: this relates to locking devices for leaves or flaps mainly of doors and windows and can be used in construction and repair of dwelling and industrial buildings and structures. Ensured is reliable locking and simple handling. Locking device has body mounted on supporting strip, rod with handle and locking cramp. Rod is of rectangular cross section and is provided with spring detent of its position which is movable in direction perpendicular to plane of supporting strip in which stopping slot is made for detent. Design of rod position spring detent allows for application of coded mechanism to control locking of leaves from outside by means of key through hollow cylindrical tail-piece, key with protrusions and rack-and-gear mechanism.
