FIELD: medicine, in particular, devices facilitating patent walking. SUBSTANCE: collapsible cane has tubular sections interconnected through flexible member, handle, tip and antiskid device. Joined section ends are beveled within the range of 5 - 7 deg. Antiskid device is positioned for movement and fixation within lower section, which is provided with openings and longitudinal slot made in lower section wall. Antiskid device has retainer and L-shaped pin. Retainer is formed as spring with one end attached on slide and other end positioned within opening of lower section wall. Vertical portion of L-shaped pin is disposed within guiding opening of supporting tip and horizontal portion is disposed in longitudinal slot of lower section wall. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction, increased convenience in usage and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
