FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is to prevent freezing of injection well head at subzero temperature in case of emergency discontinuation of water injection. According to method, well head is heated due to convectional transfer of heat accumulated in ground during period of water injection into well. Heat transfer to well head is effected by convective heat exchanger which represents U-shaped structure with its lower part being provided with set of strips (radiator). Thus, primary source of heat at accumulation of heat in ground is water injected into well. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
