FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method involves maintenance of pumped water temperature above freezing temperature with switching-over of the flow direction. Heat generator is installed on water conduit to the probable freezing place in close proximity to the well head for throttling and cavitation of water and provided with bypass line, and switching-over of flow directions is performed between section of delivery line with heat generator and bypass line by means of a valve. Valve opens automatically the bypass line and closes automatically the section of delivery line with heat generator at water temperature above freezing temperature, and when water temperature approaches freezing temperature, it shuts off the bypass line and opens the section of delivery line with heat generator. Valve includes body with inlet and main outlet branch pipes, the main seat, the maim shutoff member, power temperature sensor and stock pressed with a spring. Body is equipped with additional outlet branch pipe with additional seat arranged on opposite body side relative to the main seat on the stock.

EFFECT: increasing the effect of the method by eliminating the need for the ground heat use.
