FIELD: transmission of torque of limited magnitude. SUBSTANCE: drive clutch member 1 and driven clutch member 2 are connected by means of friction disk 3 pressed between thrust friction disk 4 and pressure disk 5 mounted for rotation and axial displacement relative to clutch member 1. Friction pairs are pressed to each other by means of pressure spring 9. Pressure unit includes 6 located in seats of varying depth between bearing member of clutch member 1 and pressure bush 8 mounted for rotation and axial displacement relative to clutch member 1 and disk 4. In transmitting the load to balls 6 of pressure unit and balls 7 of release stabilizing unit, distance forces arise which tend to reduce pressure force holding the friction pairs towards each other. When operates at maximum friction coefficient, "friction member of clutch member 1 - disk 4" is removed from operation, thus effectively limiting the load between clutch members 1 and 2.
