SUBSTANCE: proposed biosensor is constituted by culture of Photobacterium fischeri bacteria capable of varying bioluminescence intensite as synthetic surfactant is added to prepared culture sample. Biosensor is highly sensitive and specific to ampholytic synthetic surfactants. EFFECT: rapid and highly accurate measurements of ampholytic surfactants can be effected down to concentrations 10-5M - 10-4M. 3 tbl
