METHOD FOR PROCESSING OF RANDOM NUMBER SEQUENCES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves use of functional dependencies in sequence spectrum, in particular, spectral dependency in central lobe and dependency between central and side lobes. In order to achieve this method involves splitting input signal spectrum into 4n non-overlapped identical frequency bands (n is integer) and subsequent n-channel processing. Each channel processes four non-overlapped identical frequency bands two of which are located in central lobe in symmetry about frequency (where f_c is clock frequency). Two other bands are located in side lobe in symmetry about frequency . Signals that correspond to these 4n bands are converted (main operations are multiplication and narrow filtering) in order to detect harmonic frequency which is equal to clock frequency f_c. Response in random number sequence is judged by presence of harmonic frequency. If number of responses in n- channels is greater than given threshold, random number sequence is detected at output. Device has filters 1_1,2,3,4 - n_1,2,3,4, multipliers 2, narrow- band filters 3, adders 4, subtraction unit 5, threshold unit 6, judging unit 7. EFFECT: independence on shape of random number sequence, possibility to operate in conditions of white noise and spectral distribution of noise, possibility to operate in conditions of low signal-noise ratio (less than one) due to high characteristics of receiving. 1 dwg
