SUBSTANCE: continuous-action reciprocating-discharge centrifuge has pulsing (displaced) bottom which moves by cycles relative to perforated drum in axial direction to extended or returned position, forward or backwards, and may operate with high productivity when mixture is supplied after bottom leaves its extended position up to beginning the next forward motion of bottom. Mixture flow rate may be increased due to supply of mixture before bottom reaches its extended position but in amount less than after bottom leaves its extended position.
