FIELD: forest and wood working industries, grinding of warn tires. SUBSTANCE: grinding machine has loading chamber with vertical drive auger, grinding chamber and rotor installed on drive shaft and provided with working members with cutting parts projecting over the rotor surface. the working members are made in the form of cutters and the rotor is formed by set of half-rings mounted radially on the drive shaft. Secured on each half-ring is a row of cutters. The cutters of adjacent half-rings are displaced along the latter through the width of cut. In the lower part of the grinding chamber, there is tapered recess. The chamber is fitted with at least two racks with nozzles directed tangentially in relation to the surface of the half-rings and connected with a source of auxiliary medium. The rotor is disposed under the tapered recess of the grinding chamber with a gap, the width of which exceeds the height of the projecting parts of the cutters. The cutters are secured in each half-ring radially in relation to the center of its external generatrix. Placed in the upper part of the grinding chamber is renewable insert.
