FIELD: transport mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has scale whereto a contact is secured in the zone of maximum speed. The contact is connected with the central electrode of at least one spark-plug of at least of the cylinders of an engine through an ignition distributor. In addition, the device has a conducting point connected with the body for shunting the spark plug when it interacts with the scale contact. The point is made up as a weight secured to one of the ends of the flexible beam. The other end of the beam is secured to the base as a cantilever to permit deviation of the weight under the action of the centrifugal force that acts on a car when it is turned. The scale is provided with an additional contact for shunting when the beam is deflected in the direction away from the first contact.
