FIELD: transport engineering; brake system regulators. SUBSTANCE: method of electronic control of regulator with guard circuit which in case of defect incorrect functioning or incorrect power supply either holds regulator controlled operating elements such as magnetic valves of brake mechanism with antilock control in initial position or sets the operating elements in initial position. Guard circuit checks before switching on power supply relay, the connection of relay to supply contact, nonconducting state of switching transistor through which power supply relay is switched on and open position of power supply contact. Guard circuit responds also to overvoltages. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 8 cl, 3 dwg
