FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: self-discharging railway car has inclined fixed floor with hinge connected shields, hatch covers, stop and cover opening mechanism with intermediate turnable lever. Each shield is hinge-connected by rigid tie-rod to additional projection of intermediate turnable lever of cover opening mechanism. Stop is made in the form of L-shaped turnable lever one end of which is hinge-connected to pneumatic cylinder and other thrusts against intermediate turnable lever rigidly fixing the shield and cover in travelling position. Shield has end face walls forming together with end face walls a chute for directing the load. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
