FIELD: transport engineering; railway transport; self-propelled running gears; railway motor car. SUBSTANCE: running gear has frame resting through spring suspension on wheelset axle boxes. Vertical post with levers is secured for turning on frame bracket near each axle box. Levers can be set at different height. First lever of corresponding post is hinge-connected with axle box by longitudinal tie-rod. Second lever is connected with hydraulic damper hinge-secured on frame, and third lever is connected with cross tie-rod whose opposite end is connected with third lever of post arranged at opposite side of running gear. Fourth levers of posts at each side of running gear are interconnected by synchronizing device at turning of wheelsets. Levers of posts neat one wheelset are pointed inwards the running gear from axis of each post, and levers of posts of other wheelset are pointed outwards the running gear. Proposed design is more compact, use of steel wire ropes in synchronizing device materially decreases it weight. Moreover, vertical rotating post makes it possible to arrange levers at different height which facilitates arrangement of construction together with transmission and other design members of running gear.
