FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic damper has cylinder with covers; one cover is provided with chamber; cylinder contains hollow rod which is rigidly connected with piston having central hole; this piston divides interior of cylinder into rod chamber and rodless chamber which are arranged coaxially in chamber of rod; throttling bush is rigidly connected with rod; device is also provided with guide stem and throttling member mounted for longitudinal motion and provided with two cone-shaped surfaces. Chamber of cover contains additional cylinder where additional piston is mounted whose one end is connected with one end of guide stem; this additional piston has calibrated orifice and divides interior of additional cylinder into under-piston and above-piston chambers. Above-piston chamber is brought in communication with rodless chamber by means of calibrated orifice. Hollow rod contains adjusting screw which is rigidly connected with it and spring which is used for connecting the screw-with end of guide rod. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
