FIELD: equipment for sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: saturator has cylindrical housing with conical bottom, process branch pipes and perforated walls formed as flexible membranes and positioned in lower part of housing, device for separating juice drops from saturation gas and branch pipe for discharging waste saturation gas. Saturator is further provided with spraying device positioned outside housing and connected via pipeline to waste saturation gas discharge branch pipe. Spraying device is adapted for separating steam and gaseous contaminants from waste saturation gas. At least two sections positioned within spraying device housing are composed of plates for providing contact between water and saturation gas. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
