FIELD: textile, in particular, production of threads fused from inside. SUBSTANCE: method involves twisting three multifilament threads in first direction; feeding three threads and low-melting temperature core thread by two rotary feeding rollers positioned at an angle one relative to another to form uniting carrier; twisting twist thread in direction opposed to that of multifilament thread. Each of two feeding rollers has two axially aligned portions of different diameter. Method further involves subjecting twist thread to thermal treatment by winding at uniform tension of 50-500 g onto drum; heating drum together with wound thread in closed autoclave by overheated steam to temperature exceeding melting point of low-melting temperature core thread during time interval sufficient for softening of thread.
