FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used in work of operating hydraulic power stations. Structure is made up of three main parts - catamaran vessel, water intake assembled of separate A- and U-shape blocks and integrated with spillway threshold of L-shape. Installed ahead of catamaran vessel is additional vessel made in the form of pontoon with flat bottom and provided with ribs over bottom sides. Pontoon is connected with locks of water intake openings by system of levers. Pontoon and catamaran vessel are pivotally interconnected by housing with wings. Water intake itself is also provided with seals. Water intake incorporates device which can reduce atmospheric pressure above spillway threshold. This device is in the form of fan built in air-tight covering of catamaran vessel. EFFECT: high efficiency. 5 dwg
