FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to devices intended for cutting pipes remaining in wells after drilling for removing parts of them and repeated use. For this purpose pipe cutter is provided with circular seal and studs rigidly connected with body. Charge together with sleeve form circular space communicating with axial passage. Supporting circular seal is located in circular space between sleeve and charge near its lower end. Body is rigidly connected with lower part of sleeve. Body has axial space with radial passages extending from it at equal intervals from each other. Passages are located in plane which is perpendicular to body axis. Heat-protecting screen and body have coaxial peripheral and axial passages for connecting nozzle passage and axial space of body with combustion chamber. Fixing unit is located in lower part of body and is made in the form of plungers having grooves of different length in outer surface for positioning of studs. Plungers are installed in radial passages of body with possibility for radial displacement relative to body. Pipe cutter is also provided with bushes which together form passage communicating with circular nozzle passage of body. Bushes are installed on body with possibility of moving towards each other for changing clearance between them. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 cl, 4 dwg
