FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: plant has housing, draft unit, deflectors, each made in the form of at least two hollow members coaxially arranged in housing and made in the form of truncated hyperboloids of revolution with separating vertical partitions curved along spiral axis, and windwheel made in the form of body of revolution carrying fixed shaped blades and mounted above cylindrical draft channels formed by internal ends of vertical shaped partitions of each deflector. Radial of cylindrical draft channels of each pair of adjacent deflectors are chosen according to specified dependence used to reduce air flow energy loss inside power plant. The latter may by provided with automatic control system to control flow sections of channels in deflectors and, hence, generator rotor speed. EFFECT: improved design. 10 cl, 7 dwg
