The carriers of the first two rows are interconnected. The input shaft is connected with the solar gear of the second row and, through one of the clutches, with the epicycle of the first row, which is connected with one of the brakes. The solar gear of the first row is connected with the carrier of the fourth row and with the second brake. The solar gear of the third row is connected with the solar gear of the fifth row and with the carrier of the fourth row. The carrier of the third row is connected with the epicycle of the fifth row and the third brake. The solar gear of the fourth row is connected with the fourth brake. The carrier of the fifth row is connected with the fifth brake. The output shaft is connected with the epicycles of the second, third, and fourth rows, and, through the second clutch, with the solar gear of the first row.
