FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: planetary gearbox has housing, input and output shafts, five planetary gear trains, five controlled brakes and two clutches. Carriers of two first gear trains are interconnected. Input shaft is connected with sun gear of second gear train and, through one of clutches, with first gear train epicycle which is coupled with one of brakes. Sun gear of third gear train is connected with carrier with planet pinions of fourth gear train which is connected with sun gear of first gear train. The latter is connected with second brake. Carrier with planet pinions of third gear train is connected with carrier of fifth gear train and is coupled with third controlled brake. Sun gear of fourth gear train is coupled with fourth controlled brake. Epicycle of fifth gear train is coupled with fifth controlled brake. Output shaft is connected with epicycles of second, third and fourth gear trains, with sun gear of fifth gear train and, through second clutch, with sun gear of first gear train.
