FIELD: manufacture of color kinescopes. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with process of manufacture of electron gun standard unmodified gun of same type is assembled first. Value and direction of divergence of electron beams on screen of tube caused by thermal expansion of each individual electrode during heating of unmodified gun are determined. First group of electrodes causes divergence in first direction and second group of electrodes causes divergence in second direction. Summing of individual values and directions of divergence of electron beams is carried out. Net effect from thermal expansion of entire unmodified gun consists in divergence in first direction. One electrode of first group as minimum is manufactured from material with coefficient of thermal expansion lower than coefficient of thermal expansion used in operation of determination. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
