FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, frequency-controlled electric drives. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of setting signal and feedback signal, generation of error signal and calculation of its sign, generation of clock pulses of constant frequency and storing sign of error signal during generation of clock pulses. When error signal alters its sign, gates of bridge inverter are switched. Feedback signal is proportional to instantaneous voltage on load. Integrator is being reset in corresponding intervals for each pair of gates of bridge inverter and period of clock pulses is altered depending on value of integral error. Resulted feedback signal is filtered and compared to setting signal. Difference is integrated and resulted signal is used as error signal. EFFECT: increased precision of output current control and increased dynamic range of setting signal. 2 dwg
