FIELD: computer-aided systems for checking error of converters used in mechanical and instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: code value of checked and reference codes is reduced to single type and scale, moment of change of tested converter code first after zero is recorded and taken as initial reading, spaces between moments of code change of tested and reference converters are sequentially and simultaneously filled up with same time pulses while shafts of converters are rotating in step. Repetition rate of time pulses is at least one order of magnitude higher than that of code change of tested and reference converters, number of pulses in each angular space is counted and stored, respective codes are stored, total number of pulses between moments of recording of initial and final readings is counted and stored, data obtained are used to calculate error of tested converter using relevant formula. EFFECT: improved verification accuracy. 2 dwg
