FIELD: shipbuilding; manufacture of detachable joints for watertight hulls of submersible vehicles employing ground effect.
SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes rigid connecting members mounted on the outside of watertight hull and made in form of cylindrical bushes forming circular slot; unit is also provided with seal. Ends of parts of watertight hull to be connected are located in said slot. Three cylindrical bushes are interconnected. Each side cylindrical bush is engageable by its inner cylindrical surface forming slide fit with respective outer cylindrical surfaces of one of parts being connected; central (third) bush is engageable by its inner surface with outer cylindrical surfaces of ends of parts being connected, thus forming slide fit. Seal consists of several rings.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability; facilitated procedure of assembly.
