FIELD: shipbuilding; conducting levelling and laying-out jobs in building ships from light alloys. SUBSTANCE: levelling and laying-out jobs are conducted with the aid of laser optical complex which is used as source of light beams. Several parallel laser beams are passed in succession by laser optical complex over perimeter of ship's hull in vertical and horizontal planes which are oriented by datum and reference lines on ship's hull position. In plane of midship section laser beams are passed simultaneously in three vertical and two horizontal planes in succession (in two planes parallel to midship section and over keel line). Control of laser optical complex is effected with the aid of computer and visually on display by readings of mismatch units interacting with pointer-type indicators of photodetectors. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 11 dwg
