FIELD: ship-building; treatment of holes in ship's foundations used for installation of items of shipboard machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: method consists in drilling the datum hole in foundation. Axial lines are made on foundation according to axial lines of machinery and mould 7 is secured on foundation by means of U-clamps 5 and 6. Jig plates are received by holes in mould, after which U-clamps 6, retainer and mould together with jig plates are removed and centering pins 3 are inserted in holes drilled in foundation beforehand. Jig bushes 1 located in longitudinal cuts of cross-members 2 are fitted on pins 3. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 7 dwg
