FIELD: aeronautical engineering; controllable parachutes. SUBSTANCE: lines of parachute connecting it with weight are connected with blocks and additional gore by means of two parallel flexible transverse members; additional gore has ring through which guide cords are passed; ends of these cords are secured on flexible transverse members. Edge of additional gore is fastened to ends of guide cords wound on drums and passed through blocks. During rotation of drum of drive, effective area of additional gore and aerodynamic property of gliding system change, thus extending range of probable angles of glide. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 dwg
