FIELD: chemical technology, noble metals. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of noble metals from zinc deposits obtained at cementation of gold with zinc from cyanide solutions. Method involves treatment of the parent raw after its pulping off in water with chlorine to redox potential 300-500 mV. Then method involves treatment with hydrochloric acid at positive value 0-500 mV up to pH = 0-1 followed by treatment the concentrated gold residue with chlorine in HCl solution to redox value 1100 mV. Gold-containing solution is separated from insoluble residue. EFFECT: improved method of gold extraction. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
