FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: lead is prepared of waste which comprises oxides, chlorides, sulfides and sulfates. Waste is fed into carbonate melt which comprises carbonates of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium. The process is carried out at 720-1200 C and it is followed by sustaining within 24 h. Then extraction of melt lead takes place. Mass ratio of lead waste and carbonate melt by feeding is 0.1:(0.59-0.61). EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 1 tbl
