FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to heap and vat lixiviation of gold from acid-containing ores. Method implies preparation of lixiviating solution of muriatic acid and delivery it into ore. Directly before delivering into ore, solution of muriatic acid is neutralized by adding to it solution of commercial alkali sodium hypochlorite or potassium hypochlorite. Used is standard grade of sodium hypochlorite or that produced by hydrolysis. Aforesaid standard grade of sodium hypochlorite is delivered in amount of 0.6 of volume at 1-4 volumes of muriatic acid solution. EFFECT: high efficiency. 4 cl, 5 dwg, 5 tbl
