FIELD: sanitary engineering. SUBSTANCE: cartridge has a ball valving member with openings, control rod, and housing with passageways. The valving member is connected with the housing for permitting movement with respect to each other. The cartridge is made up as a unit that can be dismounted so that the valving member should not disconnected from the housing. According to another embodiment the means for connection of the valving member with the housing has projections from opposite sides of the valving member that can interact at least with an arc-like groove made on the wall of the housing. The mixing tap has the cartridge of the ball valve arranged so that to allow it to be dismounted when the cover of the valve is removed. The housing member of the cartridge has top opening for passing the control rod and bottom opening allowing a portion of the ball valving member to be brought out. In the housing member of the cartridge about the top opening is a seat surface for the sealing spacer which is in a contact with the valving member. According to another embodiment the mixing valve has the cartridge of the ball valving member. The ball valving member is pivotally connected with the housing member. The housing member has an opening for passing the control rod and bottom opening for passing a portion of the valving member.
