FIELD: metallurgical furnaces, mainly, open-hearth furnaces; construction of glassmaking furnaces. SUBSTANCE: bricks measuring 300x150x65 mm are additionally laid piecemeal on transverse even rows of checker. Bricks are also laid on longitudinal rows of main brickwork, only in central zone which covers entire area at level from bottom of checker from level (0.05-0.10) H to level (0.3-0.4) H and at level from (0.3-0.4) H to level (0.65-0.80) H from bottom it covers middle portion in width of (0.7-0.9) B and in length (0.85-0.65) L beginning from rear wall where H is height of checker of regenerator; B is width of regenerator checker and L is length of regenerator checker.
