Abstract RU 2094813 C1

FIELD: pulse radars, in particular, measurement of effective dissipation area using ground open system with soft hanging from dielectric cords. SUBSTANCE: all members of hanging system are oriented at angle with respect to electric vector of incident field when object is rotated. Introduced additional horizontal arms 10 and sloping arms 8 provide required angle of hanging members for small size objects and low intrinsic noise level in required sectors of heading angles. Device provides possibility to measure effective dissipation area of less then 0.01 sq.m for geometric characteristics K = L/H, K <0.1, where L is length of object, H is distance between carrying rope 6 and object 1.
