FIELD: antenna engineering and radar engineering. SUBSTANCE: simulator has M radiators, N microwave oscillators, N+M controlled phase shifters, control computer, N forks, as well as N power splitters inserted between microwave oscillators and respective controlled phase shifters; in addition, it has newly introduced N control units each incorporating master oscillator, channel address decoder, phase-shifter control signal shaper, and microwave-oscillator control signal shaper; respective inputs of mentioned phase shifters are connected to outputs of master oscillator, channel address decoder and, through newly introduced parallel interface, to computer, and their outputs are connected to control inputs of respective phase shifters and microwave oscillators; output of each of N microwave oscillators is connected to input of respective power splitter, their total number being also N, and each of M outputs of power splitter is connected to microwave input of respectively numbered phase shifter forming thereby N-channel system whose like channel inputs, except for inputs meant for connecting external oscillators, are interconnected in parallel and connected to respective outputs and buses of computer; system also has N+M microwave-signal outputs connected through forks to respective radiators arranged coaxially to antenna elements of radio electronic system under test at distance of , where λ is wavelength; decoupling radio-absorbing units are placed between simulator radiators and tested radio electronic system radiators. Phase-shifter control signal shaper has timer, processor unit, address switch, main storage, data switch, address shaper, register, and key current amplifiers all interconnected and connected to master oscillator and channel address decoder; microwave-oscillator control signal shaper is similar in design to phase-shifter control signal shaper; channel address decoder has selector switch, comparator, seven AND gates, and four OR gates; master oscillator has crystal oscillator, inverter, three AND gates, and OR gate. EFFECT: provision for concurrently shaping signal parameters and location of separate simulated radio electronic systems in forming multisignal script of radio situation including their real-time shaping. 8 cl, 7 dwg
